LaGuía uses very few cookies, and none of them is for advertising. This page lists all of them.

All three are strictly necessary: without them you cannot sign in, the site forgets your language, and connecting TikTok would be open to a third party inducing the link in your session.

Browser local storage

If you have no account, your reminders are kept in your browser's local storage under a random identifier. It is not a cookie, it does not travel to the server tied to your identity, and it disappears if you clear the site's data.

TikTok's, which we do not control

Channel pages display TikTok's official player. That player is loaded by TikTok from their servers, so TikTok may set its own cookies and sees your IP address, exactly as if you had opened tiktok.com.

We neither decide nor administer that. It is governed by TikTok's privacy policy.

We use the official player rather than copying the video so that views stay where they belong: with the creator.

If you would rather avoid it, simply do not open a channel page: the rest of LaGuía — the schedule, search, reminders — works without loading anything from TikTok.

How to block them

Any browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings. If you block ours, you can still browse the guide but you will not be able to sign in.
