Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 August 2026
These terms govern the use of LaGuía. By using the site, you accept them.
What LaGuía is
LaGuía is a programming guide for live streams. It tells you which creators are on air and when they broadcast, and takes you to watch them on the platform where they stream.
It works like the old TV guide: we arrange the schedule, someone else makes the content.
What LaGuía is not
Worth stating clearly:
- We are not TikTok, nor any other video platform, and we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by them.
- We do not host the streams. We link to and display each platform's official player. The video does not pass through our servers.
- We are not responsible for the content of the streams. It belongs to the creator and is governed by the rules of the platform they broadcast on.
Platform names and trademarks belong to their owners, and we use them only to identify where each stream comes from.
Schedules are declared by the creator
This is the most important thing to understand about the service.
The times you see are published by each creator. LaGuía does not guarantee the broadcast will happen. A creator may run late, start early, or not broadcast at all. That is not a failure on our part or theirs: it is the nature of going live.
When we say someone is LIVE, it is because we have a confirmation — from the creator or from the platform — not because we inferred it from the schedule. When we do not have one, we say it differently. We would rather show less certainty than false certainty.
Reminders
You can ask us to notify you before a broadcast.
- The cap is two notices per broadcast: one before it starts and one when it does.
- If you choose email, you must confirm the link we send. Without that, no message goes out.
- You can unsubscribe at any time from the notice itself.
- The notice goes out at the time the creator declared. If they do not broadcast, you already got the notice: see the point above.
Creator channels
Nobody appears without joining
LaGuía does not list creators on its own initiative. A channel exists only once its owner has signed in with the account of the platform they stream on. There are no profiles assembled by us from public data.
If you nonetheless find an entry that should not be there, write to [email protected] and we will remove it.
Claiming your channel
To publish your schedule you must claim your channel, and that requires verifying the account is yours by connecting it with the platform. We do not create a channel in someone's name without that check.
When you claim it:
- you are responsible for the schedule you publish;
- you declare the account is yours;
- you can delete the channel whenever you want.
What we may do
We may remove or correct a catalogue entry if it is false, if it impersonates someone, if it contains illegal content, or if its rightful owner asks us to. We will do so with judgement, and with notice where there is someone to notify.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- impersonate another person or creator;
- publish false schedules to attract traffic;
- automate requests to the site at a volume that degrades it;
- attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours;
- use LaGuía for anything unlawful.
If any of that happens, we may suspend the account.
Accounts
You are responsible for what happens from your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us if you suspect someone got in without permission.
You can delete your account whenever you want. We may close it if you breach these terms.
Price
Today LaGuía is free, both to watch and to publish a schedule.
If we ever charge for something, it will be clear before we charge it, and never retroactively.
Ownership
The code, the design and the organisation of the catalogue are ours. The content of each stream and each creator's name belong to whoever they belong to.
By publishing a schedule on LaGuía you give us permission to display it on the site, in notices and in shared links. Nothing more: what is yours stays yours.
No warranties, and the limits of our liability
LaGuía is provided as is. We do not guarantee it will always be available, that schedules will be accurate, or that a broadcast will happen.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits arising from use of the site, nor for what happens on the platforms we link to.
None of this limits any consumer rights the law grants you that cannot be waived.
Changes
We may change these terms. If the change is material, we update the date at the top and announce it on the site. Continuing to use LaGuía after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable at the domicile of the service provider. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of that domicile, without prejudice to the rights the law grants you in your country of residence.
